I am originally from SC but have lived in NC with my husband for the last seven years. I spent five years as a nurse at Duke before going back to school for my MSN. 

I am passionate about rural health, adolescent care, mental and behavioral health, and health education. I believe deeply that it is our responsibility as healthcare providers to help patients feel seen, understood, and safe as well as practice medicine with excellence.
