I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who primarily works with children, adolescents and some young adults. I received my Bachelor's in Social Work from Mars Hill University, followed by my Master's in Social Work from Western Carolina University.  I greatly enjoy working within the School Based Health Centers of East Yancey and Cane River Middle Schools here in Yancey County.  When not in the schools, I am often at our Celo or Burnsville site.  I am a native of Buncombe County, growing up in Weaverville, NC.  I am married and have two daughters.  When I'm not at work, I enjoy fishing, reading, attempting to crochet, and visiting my oldest daughter in Arizona.  However, no day is complete without snuggling up with my miniature dachshund, Rey.
