After receiving my undergraduate degree from Berea College and graduating from medical school at the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) at Virginia Tech, I completed residency through the MAHEC Hendersonville Family Medicine Program in North Carolina.  I then pursued an additional year of training in Sports Medicine.  Today, I deeply enjoy my work as a Family Doctor and as Medical Director of MCHP.  I care for people of all ages, and I believe in working together to find the path to health that is best for each individual and for our community.

When I am not at Celo Health Center, you can find me trail running, biking, or otherwise enjoying these beautiful mountains and rivers with my husband and our sweet black lab, Shelby.
